A tale of Two Chefs, One Dinner, and a Multi-Cultural Experience:
On Wednesday, November 11, the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America tour stops in Santa Fe for a unique dinner in the beautiful rooftop Terrace room at historic La Fonda on the Plaza.
This year features Chef Marc Quinones at La Fonda who brings a breadth of culinary talent from leading incredible properties across Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and beyond. He is joined by Chef Raymond Naranjo of Manko Native America Fusion. Chef Marc’s New York / Puerto Rican roots give him a unique approach to making New Mexican cuisine his own. Chef Raymond anchors the dinner with indigenous ingredients and dishes from his home in Santa Clara Pueblo. The four-course dinner is paired with impressive wines from Daou Vineyards, founded by two entrepreneurial Lebanese brothers whose family emigrated to California.
Bringing people from all walks of life together to enjoy a special night of food and festivity is what Taste America is all about. We have a few tickets left and would love for you to join us!
