Condé Nast Traveler announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards on October 4, 2022, with Santa Fe taking the #3 spot in the category of “Best Small Cities in the U.S.”
Santa Fe moved up one place in the rankings this year from fourth place on the 2021 list. An internationally beloved travel destination, the city has finished as a top five city in the annual survey since 2014, making it one of the most awarded cities by the publication’s readers.
“The Condé Nast Traveler reader poll is one of the most important endorsements of Santa Fe available today,” said Randy Randall, executive director of TOURISM Santa Fe. “Potential visitors rely on these destination rankings to help them make their travel decisions for the coming year. We are very pleased to once again be in the top five small cities this year. It is the outstanding visitor experience provided daily by our tourism partners that makes Santa Fe a top destination and it is rewarding to have this experience so well received by the traveling public.”
