Top 10 Santa Fe Instagram Photos of 2017

2017 was a fantastic year of photography in Santa Fe. To celebrate all the colorful images and memories from the past year, we’ve selected the top ten favorite user submitted Instagram photos from @cityofsantafe that were tagged #SantaFeNM. Photos were selected by the number of likes each photo received.

This year four Santa Fe sunset/sunrise photos made the top ten, along with two snow photos and four iconic Santa Fe locations. Our most popular iconic character “Zozobra” also took a top ten honor. And for the first time, two drone photos made the list.

Visitors and photographers have fallen in love with the light and brilliant blue sky in Santa Fe. Some claim the light is like no other in the world.  And with that distinction, recent events such as the Review Santa Fe Photo Festival (which is a premier juried photo portfolio review event) have taken root in Santa Fe.  Santa Fe is destined to become a top photographer’s destination.

We invite you to take the opportunity to capture Santa Fe’s beauty and see for yourself what photographers have been shooting for over 100 years. Santa Fe provides the perfect opportunity for the photographer in each of us to capture a Santa Fe memory.
